I first heard of this, if I'm remembering right, at least 7 years ago. Its relevance has never faded. As sad as this is, it's a wonderful thing to be able to find something like this that makes you want to reach out to other people and share it with them - to share a thought, a concern, an emotion, a hope, the conditions of being human...

I heard this prayer many years ago. I was so moved by this prayer..that I had to locate it again and will be sending copies to my local politicians. Thank you very much! I just pray that they arent jaded enough to miss the message. Perhaps this is where the economic stimulus package should have started ....our children...our families..our society...our future.....Turning the back on our seeds will only lead to a barren harvest! Thank you

I was such a lucky child and never even knew it. I'm calling my dad right now to tell him that I Iove him. Today would have been my mother's birthday and I sure do miss her. Thank you for the prayer. I'll print everyone at our center a copy.

Even though I only skimmed Delta of Venus, and therefore can't say too much for or against it, I can HIGHLY recommend her diaries if you haven't already come across them. For me the writing in her diaries was so much more truthful, and therefore powerful, than her erotica or novellas. Don't judge her as an author until you check out some of her diaries.

he rats are jumping from the ship as hundreds of Cold Stone locations are now collapsing around the US. Why? Because the "concept" of mixing stuff into ice cream has always been a fad, and the fad is now over. The product isn't that good, is grossly overpriced, and consumers are flocking back to properly formulated ice cream from other chains like Baskin Robbins and Ben & Jerry's.

The Cold Stones have been largely sold to Yuppies with too much equity in their homes, who jumped into the stores to be "business owners". But since the labor costs are double the competition, and stores are too big and too expensive to run, the number of unprofitable stores is skyrocketing with the results we have here.
